Deck & Stair Stain Refresh

This Minnetonka deck had faded well past its last stain job, so we started with a full pressure wash to lift dirt and loose material before any sanding began. The deck boards, stair treads and risers, and handrail were all sanded, vacuumed, and stained with Sikkens Proluxe deck stain, color-matched as closely as possible to the existing finish so the whole structure reads as one continuous surface rather than a patchwork of old and new. Metal spindles on the handrail were carefully masked to keep lines crisp, and we carried the same stain down to the paneling and door at the under-deck storage area — the kind of detail that’s easy to skip and always noticeable when it’s missing.
