Popcorn Ceiling Removal

Popcorn ceilings are one of the most requested removals we get, and this Eden Prairie project shows why it’s worth doing properly. We masked every window and door, laid construction paper across the floors to catch debris, then moistened the ceiling texture in stages to break its bond before scraping it back to a smooth surface — patching and sanding any gouges left behind. While the space was already opened up, we also removed a run of upper cabinets and demoed the soffit above them along with an adjoining section of kitchen wall drywall, clearing the way for a more open kitchen and living room layout. A quick hardware swap on the doors finished the punch list.
